hiraz/Viognier Bloodstone Gemtree 2008 75cl

Concentration, power and amazing balance.  5% of Viognier was added to the Shiraz to enhance the aromatics, sweetness and tannin profile of the wine.  The resulting palate is rich and plush with a range of flavours, mulberries, boysenberries and chocolate.  The wine exhibits layers of concentration yet remains focused by the balanced acidity and soft tannins.  Very harmonious.
