La Rareza
La Rareza's grapes are grown by a passionate wine producing family from a winery in the heart of Mendoza Valley, an area famed for quality wines since the Spanish monks arrived in the 1500's and realised the unique opportunity it offered to make truly elegant and exceptional wines. High altitude, with a long ripening season, warm days and cool nights, low rainfall and soil which is high in mineral content, create the perfect growing conditions for fully ripened grapes.

Malbec truly comes into its own in Argentina, where the vines are ungrafted and true to their original characteristics. This wine has a beautiful deep purple/red colour with powerful aromas of plums and blackcurrants and rich, soft, full-bodied plum flavours on the palate, which seem to linger for minutes. The elegance and high concentration of fruit and tannin make this beautifully crafted wine a perfect to accompany pasta, sharp cheeses and smoked meat. Ideal serving temperature: between 17°C and 19°C.
