Set in the Veneto region, in the most famous Classico spot Monte Foscarino in North East Italy, Inama is considered to be the top and most innovative producer of Soave Classico and the wines are simply outstanding. The Soaves, made from 100% Garganega, stand out not only for their barrique ageing, but also because of their peculiarities such as the extreme ripeness, concentration and particular softness.
(Bottle)
Rich yellow colour. Intense nose of butter and nuts with fat notes of ripe fruits on the palate and a long persistent finish. An excellent aperitif and great with nearly any dish.
(Bottle)
This wine carries the "Veneto Rosso" classification as the blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmenere are not permitted in any higher levels of Italian Wine law than the regional Veneto one. This bears no reflection on the quality of this wine, as it really is a force to be reckoned with in modern Italian winemaking. It is drinking well just now but also has a great structure to develop further.
(Bottle)
This offers a fascinating slant on the Sauvignon variety, and shows what can be achieved with quality, ripe fruit and no filtration at all. Its wonderfully rich and concentrated in both flavour and texture.
(Bottle)
This is surprisingly fresh and full-flavoured, showing elderflower scents with super length and balance on the finish.
(Bottle)
Huge rich nose, massive fruit with lovely, full, yet not over ripe, rich, complex flavours and a superb, balanced, subtle finish.
