Cuvée Valonnée, our very own Southern French wine, is named after the rolling countryside which surrounds the Château. The grapes, grown by a passionate wine producer and selected at source, highlight all the characteristics of the terroir and true flavour of the grape - something so lacking in a world dominated by big brand and uniformity of taste.

This wine excited all of us - it is truly remarkable. It has a soft voluptuous 'Viognier' character of melons, lemons and lychees with an excellent length of flavour, crisp yet rounded, full yet elegant.

This style of wine with 100% Grenache Noir, has been famed since the 1860s. It exhibits currant, cherry and raisin characteristics with aromas of black pepper. The elegance and high concentration of fruit and tannin make it a perfect partner to a wide variety of dishes, from white meat to red meat and even as an aperitif.

As a rosé style, the Syrah grape lends its full bodied, dark-berried characteristics in a restrained manner, with the colour being bled gently into the fresh grape must. The resulting wine is a brilliant pink colour, with a soft red fruit fragrance on the nose, backed up by a gentle but evident structure on the palate. This wine would be a very pleasant aperitif and would also partner a variety of salads, and lighter dishes.
