Training client’s staff nationwide is one of our highest priorities and we are the only Scottish wine merchant to deliver WSET courses to three levels: Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced.  Inverarity routinely puts more candidates through WSET courses than any other programme provider in Scotland.

WSET courses are delivered in over 50 countries and are the only wine and spirit qualifications recognised by the UK government.  They are specifically designed for the hospitality industry.  In 2008 Inverarity was placed in the top eight educators worldwide in the Wine Educator of the year competition run by the WSET and again in 2010.

WSET Foundation Level 1.  A two day intensive course that provides confidence for front line staff in the sale and service of wine and a practical introduction to food and wine matching.

WSET Intermediate Level 2.  Held over eight afternoons, this course offers a broad coverage of the main product categories in the field of wines and spirits together with practice of tasting technique.

WSET Advanced Level 3.  A ten week programme providing comprehensive detail on the wide range of wines and spirits around the world with and increased focus on tasting technique.
