Partagas is the oldest of the Havana brands, started in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas, the old factory still exists. The brand was particularly famous between the two world wars and has the distinction of being mentioned in cigar lover Evelyn Waugh's novel, Brideshead Revisited. The Short has a lovely, archetypal Partagas flavour - rich, earthy, full bodied and slightly sweet.
